"My" dining room is perfectly cleaned & set for a family dinner...the maids did a wonderful job...The kitchen is where my friends love to sit and sip coffee with me...

Frugal Groceries!!!!!!!!! Week #2

This is week #2 of staying under $100 of groceries....this week we shopped at Aldi's and I am SO happy about all the food we purchased...The total before tax was $66....after tax, $72.22.....excellent!!!
We bought everything we needed to come up with wonderful ideas for a week of delicious menus and eating......
A 1 1/2 lb. loaf of wheat bread was $.59....bought two. Hamburgers buns were $.59....hamburgers for lunch tomorrow...yum
Whole chicken were ONLY $.85/lb....excellent buy of the week!!!! We bought 6!!!!!!!!! I have tons of delish recipes using chicken!!!!!
Oh dear me!!!!!!!!!! I am SO excited about meeting our grocery budget!!!! It's a challenge and we are doing it! yay!!!!! Chat with you later ♥

Pork Chops & Apples....

I cooked & sliced boneless chops, then added a fuji apple, sliced, some butter, salt & pepper...was going to add a tad of brown sugar, but the apple was sweet enough for me....Here was today's lunch: chops & apples, creamy alfredo fettuccini, corn, and sliced organic tomatoes......yum!

Yep! He loves it!!!!!!!!! He rated it an 8 (out of 10). So, that means I will make it again!
The leftovers are in a container for him to take to work for his supper tonite..........gotta clean up the kitchen now...chat with you later♥

Quick Donuts

Take the biscuits out...Use whatever "tool" you have handy to make the donut holes....
Put about 2" of oil in pan and get ready for the donuts...
They cook very quickly!
Toss the hot donuts in your favorite topping....I used cinnamon & sugar...
